ALBUM 900
Lucia Pescador
Free admission upon registration
Lucia Pescador creates collections of images that span literary and visual references, composing an ever-evolving imaginative encyclopedia. Central themes such as nature and geometry, East and West, drawing and photography, historical avant-gardes, and anonymous figures of the 20th century intertwine with her personal vision. ALBUM 900 is a "reduction" of her wall-based work, translated by Palermo Publishing into an unbound volume in a limited edition of 700 copies. This publication offers a fluid, relational reading of Pescador’s work, inviting readers to explore the plates as dynamic double spreads or as individual sheets, which can be extracted and rearranged to create new visual associations.
Speakers include:
Damiano Gullì, curator for Contemporary Art and Public Program of Triennale Milano; Marta Sironi, art historian; Michela Palermo, founder of Palermo Publishing.
