In a new environment, how would you sew the garment that will welcome and protect you and the people you are with? This is the question that guides the workshop project held at Officina, our new space for families, on the occasion of the 24th International Exhibition.
The home, like clothing, is a web of meanings: refuge and protection, but also a visible form of bonds, habits, and relationships. abitAMI invites children to question the meaning of living and the relationship between their bodies, others, and the environment. Accompanied by Attila Faravelli's sound compositions, we imagine a house-clothing to be built together, capable of transforming itself, welcoming, telling the story of those who live in it, and opening up to other living beings.
