In this theatrical reading, part of the public program of Inequalities, comedian Alessandra Faiella gives voice to the words of Lidia Ravera, taken from Age Pride, a book that is at once a confession, a manifesto, and a provocation. Through the story of her conflictual relationship with advancing age, the author reclaims the majestic joy hidden in maturity and explains how time, from an enemy creeping up behind you waiting for unconditional surrender, can be transformed into an ally that allows you unexpected freedom and a true inner revolution. After the performance, the dialogue opens to the public, in a discussion led by Elisabetta Donati, Scientific Director of the Ravasi Garzanti Foundation, to continue together to give voice and space to a topic that concerns us all.
Alessandra Faiella is a comic actress who performs in theater and on television. She began her theater career with Dario Fo and Franca Rame and has worked with actors such as Max Pisu, Marina Massironi, and Corrado Tedeschi. She has appeared on many television programs in Italy.
