Aldo Rossi: architectures for cities
Drawings from the Antonia Jannone Gallery
Free admission
The selection of works on paper by Aldo Rossi (1931 - 1997) dedicated to his built and designed architectures are displayed in the “square” of our new Piano Parco. The watercolor, ink, pen and graphite drawings present some well-known urban projects, chosen by Antonia Jannone, who has worked with Rossi since 1979. In an almost domestic setting, the features, figures and ideas of the great Milanese architect invite reflection on architectural drawing both as a design tool and as an autonomous art form capable of expressing a poetic vision of the world.
