La memoria risiede nel lobo dell’orecchio
Alessandro Bosetti
Running time: 55'
Tickets: €18
As part of the festival In reciproca attesa, in collaboration with the Unione Buddhista Italiana, composer and sound artist Alessandro Bosetti invites the audience to an intimate and immersive experience that creates a space both real and imaginary, where sounds, memories, and fragments of life intertwine. Words are whispered directly into the listener’s ear, while an invisible yet enveloping score unfolds in space - layers of sounds, rustles, sighs, melodic fragments, voices near and distant - born from a process of exploration and excavation into the sonic memories of a group of participants at the origin of the project. Gradually, the spectators themselves become carriers of these sound memories. What emerges is a poetic exploration of the bond between sound, memory, and identity. What does an unforgettable sound resemble?
Alessandro Bosetti is a composer and sound artist with a particular interest in the musicality of language and in the voice as an autonomous object, as well as in the relationship between sound and memory. He creates surprising devices, often connected to the radio medium, and develops a continuous reflection that questions aesthetic categories and listening postures. His music has been featured in the programs of numerous festivals, including the Festival d’Automne in Paris, the Eclat Festival in Stuttgart, the GRM’s Présences Électroniques Festival in Paris, the Liquid Architecture Festival in Melbourne, the San Francisco Electronic Music Festival, the Musica Festival in Strasbourg, the Ruido Festival in Buenos Aires, and Sussurra Luce in Bari.
