BookCity Milano is back. One week. Hundreds of book presentations, meetings with the authors, readings and performances. The city of Milan is transformed into a great stage whose spotlights are focused on the books. The focus of the current edition is dedicated to War and Peace, because in a historical moment in which the atavistic theme of war and peace is dramatically re-emerging, we cannot fail to take note of how this topic has engaged and engages literature in its various forms. Books and literature have always been a space for representing a terrible reality and the anxiety to overcome it, a tool for expression and understanding, precious signposts for reading the past and the present, but above all for thinking about the future.
