Brigantia has no borders. It is a story that germinated in 2020 and has stretched across time and space to arrive today and reach the form of a book (Boîte Editions, 2024), which is not the conclusion but a part of the process. Annika Pettini chose to talk about this land of possibilities as she came into contact with the research of artists capable of translating emotions into landscapes. The book includes the research of Chiara Bettazzi, Lucia Cantò, Stefano Comensoli_Nicolò Colciago, Ilaria Cuccagna, Giulia Currà, Oliviero Fiorenzi, Giulia Fumagalli, Rada Kozelj, Silvia Mangosio, Reverie, Fabio Roncato, Virginia Russolo and the narrative is constructed through the union of poetic texts and an array of images coming from their personal archives, from the way in which their gaze is placed on the world, before become a work, during the process and study phases.
