Free admission upon registration
Marta Rodríguez and Jorge Silva's documentary, shot between 1966 and 1972, chronicles the lives of the Castañeda family, brick manufacturers on the outskirts of Bogotá. Through their daily experience, the film exposes the exploitation of manual workers, offering a powerful cue to reflect on social inequality. The filmmakers establish a trusting relationship with the family, allowing us to enter their reality with an intimate and personal look. The images show the hardships of working in the brick factory and the living conditions, but also the dignity and resilience of the family.
