American singer and multi-instrumentalist Curtis Harding arrives in Italy with his album If Words Were Flowers. Written and recorded during the years of the pandemic, the album is a vibrant and dazzling sonic bouquet. Drawing on vintage soul, R&B, hip-hop, garage rock and psychedelia, it consists of eleven raw, gritty songs fueled by airtight grooves, punchy horns and bold production by Harding and collaborator Sam Cohen (Kevin Morby, Benjamin Booker and others).
