Dance Well: Movement Research for Parkinson

Dance Well - Research and Movement for Parkinson's is an initiative to promote the practice of contemporary dance in museum spaces and art settings, which is aimed primarily, but not exclusively, at people living with Parkinson's. Classes are held every Thursday from 10 am to 11 am – until the end of the year. Participation is open to anyone. The classes, which have a limited number of participants, are free upon registration.

Dance classes are led by certified Dance Well Teachers, who are free to adopt different approaches, techniques and styles through their artistic proposals, which focus on the development of expressive skills for dance. The team consists of Alessandra Onnis, Emanuele Enria, former teacher at Lavanderia a Vapore in Collegno (TO) and Serena Marossi together with Simone Moretti, teacher at Accademia Carrara in Bergamo. Started in 2013 by the CSC - Centro per la Scena Contemporanea of the City of Bassano del Grappa, Dance Well is to date the most important Italian artistic reality dealing with Dance for people with Parkinson's disease.
