Y. Dialogue with Marguerite Yourcenar
Tiziano Colombi
Free admission upon registration
In the volume (Les Flâneurs Editions, 2024) Tiziano Colombi pays tribute to the great writer Marguerite Yourcenar, exploring her work and life. Through a series of portraits, historical reconstructions and imaginary dialogues, the author takes us inside the mind and soul of one of the most eclectic figures in twentieth-century literature. From Hadrian's Villa to Paris, from her relationship with Grace Frick to the last days of her life, the book is a journey through time, memory and art, in search of the meaning of writing and the essence of a woman known only through her literary works. A book that also invites us to reflect on what it really means to be a writer and how memory can live on in our words.
