NABA Visual Arts Exhibition Voicing the Archive, Davide Barberi, Le tiepide rovine, 2021
Yesterday I Went Diving into the Archive: Nine Conversations
As part of the exhibition project Voicing the Archive, an open dialogue on the possibilities of the archive, a broad curatorial phenomenon with a global reach. The talk revolves around the establishment of nine focuses to give voice to the exhibition concept expressed by the curatorial team that responds to the current trend and delves into the practices of the invited emerging artists. Nine conversations between NABA students and alumni – young professionals in the cultural and curatorial field of contemporary art – to analyze the plurality of meanings and explore the depths of memory through the archive, the theme around which the exhibition project and the round table are developed. The talk will be followed by Marco Scotini presenting his book L'inarchiviabile. The archive versus history (Meltemi editore) in a dialogue with Luca Cerizza, curator, art critic and NABA lecturer, and Luca Vitone, artist and NABA lecturer.
