Si respira nel giardino come in un bosco

El Conde de Torrefiel

Teatro Filodrammatici di Milano

Monday – Friday each 20 minutes from 5 pm to 9 pm
Saturday each 20 minutes from 11 am to 7 pm
Running time 40’

El Conde de Torrefiel defies theatrical conventions once again, presenting a scenic proposal in which participants are both interpreters and audience. Guided by an audio track, each participant brings to life, individually, a performance of auto-theater in which they need to execute simple actions, and then sit down to observe the next person’s moves.Within this narrative, participants will be invited to reflect in entirely new ways on the reality that surrounds them, on the possibility of constructing it and on the pleasure of observing in silence, like at the theater, the artificial nature of the world that has been created.

El Conde de Torrefiel is a project born in Barcelona in 2010, founded by Tanya Beyeler and Pablo Gisbert. Since then, they have produced twelve theatrical works and eight site-specific stage productions, in addition to conducting workshops across Europe. Their creations have been presented in theaters and festivals in America, Asia, and especially in Europe, including the Kunstenfestivaldesarts in Brussels, Wiener Festwochen in Vienna, Festival d'Automne in Paris, Festival GREC in Barcelona, Short Theater in Rome, MMCA in Seoul, Museo del Chopo in Mexico City, Festival Transámerique in Montreal, and Festival d'Avignon.
