Under what conditions can music be a weapon of opposition? The first event of the fourth season of Hyperlocal Club features the underground scene of Buahbatu, an Indonesian neighborhood in Bandung. The event will showcase: Tarawangsawelas and Heith, who along with the duo Babau will perform a collaborative album composed in 2018 for the first time; Turtles JR, pioneers of hardcore punk in Bandung; Myria Idha, a DJ based in Marseille, who plays Warung, electronic music from the archipelago; an installation by Ensemble Tikoro, a metal choir that performs compositions for voice alone; and Ariel William Orah, an artist originally from Bandung but now residing in Berlin.
