IRENE
Alessandro Marzotto Levy
Running time 40’
How does the body react to the loss of a loved one? IRENE deals with this complex aspect by translating it into a choreographic language made of ritual gestures, in an ultimate attempt to relate with what is invisible, with what is no longer present. In this performance by Alessandro Marzotto Levy, young choreographer winner of DNAppunti Coreografici 2022, dance becomes the medium through which to explore time, memories that come back to shock us, and to rebuild the meaning of a past that will never return.
