On the occasion of the opening of John Giorno: a labour of LOVE, a talk to discuss how the exhibition—made possible thanks to the support of Fiera Milano and inspired by the curatorial theme of the 29th edition of miart, among friends—brings to light the traces of Giorno's countless friendships and collaborations with some of the most significant figures in twentieth-century art, literature and music: Robert Rauschenberg, Andy Warhol, William S. Burroughs, John Cage, Allen Ginsberg, Keith Haring, Allan Kaprow, Jasper Johns, Patti Smith, Michael Stipe, and others.
