Running time 60’
Slowing down. Stopping. Waiting. In times of hypervelocity and FOMO (fear of missing out), what happens when we are asked to wait, queue up for something? The award-winning actress Marleen Scholten premiers at FOG a piece on waiting, partially based on the true story of a Milanese who lost his job and came up with the idea of becoming a “queuer”, a person who waits in line on somebody else’s behalf for a fee. The queue becomes the receptacle of chaos, misunderstandings, anger, questions, despair, boredom, relief, or simply relationships between human beings who are stationary in a space with a common aim: wait their turn. A humorous, political, absurd and lucid reflection on identity.
