An event dedicated to the artist photographer Ljubodrag Andric (Belgrade, 1965), organized within the exhibition Ljubodrag Andric. Spaces, Thresholds, Lights, curated by Francesco Tedeschi, on view at BUILDING GALLERY until October 18th, 2025. The artist—represented in Italy by BUILDING and hosted by Triennale Milano with a solo exhibition in 2016 (Ljubodrag Andric: Works 2008–2016)—works in a space suspended between photography and painting, drawing inspiration from the atmosphere of historic architecture encountered during his journeys. His works can be described as geometric abstractions “painted” with light. During the talk, the new publication Ljubodrag Andric. INDIA, published by Hartmann Books (2025), will be also presented. The book is the result of Andric’s journeys, particularly throughout the Indian subcontinent between 2019 and 2024. The dialogue, enriched by the critical and academic perspectives of the speakers, will allow for an in-depth exploration of Andric’s artistic and visual research.
