Lorenzo Senni
The multidisciplinary producer, composer and artist dedicated to investigating and abstracting the archetypes and mechanisms of specific dance music genres performs a special performance dedicated to members on the rooftop of Triennale Milano.
Best known for deconstructing the epic accumulations and ecstatic synthesizer arpeggios of 1990s trance and hard techno, Senni condenses years of electronic music ideas and styles along the edge of his Roland JP-8000 Supersaw synthesizer.
Lorenzo Senni released his debut album with Warp in 2020; critically acclaimed. Checkmate took Senni's musical concepts and ideas into more conceptual introspective territory, referring directly to the game of chess, described by all master players as a lifelong challenge with the inner self. He has composed music for film, theater, TV, and movies, including the soundtrack for Yuri Ancarani's award-winning films Da Vinci and The Challenge, music for the cult Netflix series Black Mirror, +/ - Human, and a documentary on the fashion house Fiorucci. He has made music for Maserati, Fendi and Nike Ads.
