A walk through impossible worlds, a succession of dreamlike scenes that unleashes all the power of images, with their extraordinary incommunicability.
The acclaimed project El Conde de Torrefiel (Tanya Beyeler and Pablo Gisbert) presents a performative installation specially designed for children, in which surreal and colorful atmospheres invite the spectators to multiply their gaze.
Like explorers of unknown lands, participants will be guided by a narrative voice through a journey that will tap into their imaginative and sensory powers.
El Conde de Torrefiel is a Barcelona-based project founded by Tanya Beyeler and Pablo Gisbert focused on understanding the connections between rationality and the linguistic meaning of things, as well as the abstraction of concepts, the symbolic in relation to the image. Tanya Beyeler (Lugano, 1980) studied drama in Spain. At first, she began to work as an actress in the mode of textual theater, but time and experience brought her closer to dance and performance. Pablo Gisbert (Ontinyent, 1982), graduated in dramaturgy in 2011 from the Institut del Teatre of Barcelona. In the same year he was awarded the National Accesit Prize Marqués de Bradomín for his text A cinema burns and ten people are burned. In 2013 he was selected for the European dramaturgy platform Fabulamundi – Playwriting Europe.
