Make war not love
Jacopo Benassi, Michele Lombardelli
Ingresso gratuito su registrazione
Artists Jacopo Benassi and Michele Lombardelli have been collaborating for years to explore the relationship between sound, image, and audience. In their performance, a camera becomes an instrument, pieces of a drum kit don’t keep time, and the guitar produces irregular, almost broken sounds. The result is a “non-concert,” where sound happens by accident and the audience becomes an active part of the event. There are no scores, no rules—everything is open to unpredictability. If it turns out perfectly, it’s a failure.
Jacopo Benassi is a photographer, artist, performer, and musician. His distinctive style cancels out depth of field, using flash not just as a light source but as a signature—an intentional stylistic constraint that pushes his photography toward a raw, unfiltered aesthetic.
Michele Lombardelli is an artist, musician, collector, and publisher. His visual work is driven by an analytical approach that explores the unresolved and the undefined, drawing inspiration from the ideas of Samuel Beckett.
