Diploma of Honor for Antonia Jannone
The Diploma of Honor is awarded to Antonia Jannone, a gallery owner and intellectual who has recognized and promoted the value of architectural design as a cultural testimony of contemporaneity. This prestigious honor, the highest granted by the institution, will be presented during an official ceremony by Triennale Milano President Stefano Boeri. Speaking alongside him will be Carla Morogallo, Director General of Triennale Milano, and Marco Sammicheli, Scientific Director of the Museum of Italian Design.
The ceremony features speeches by leading figures in art, design, and architecture, including Marva Griffin Wilshire, founder of Salone Satellite; Nicoletta Morozzi Branzi, lecturer and designer; Chiara Spangaro, Director of the Aldo Rossi Foundation; Francesco Vezzoli, artist; Franco Raggi, architect; and Michele De Lucchi, architect.
With her Gallery Antonia Jannone Disegni di Architettura, founded in 1977, Antonia Jannone has transformed architectural design into an autonomous art form capable of going beyond the design function to communicate a poetic and visionary language. Through collaborations with great masters of architecture and exhibitions dedicated to prominent figures such as Andrea Branzi, Michele De Lucchi, and Alessandro Mendini, the Gallery has become a point of reference in the Milanese cultural scene, promoting an innovative dialogue between architecture, art, and design. The presentation of the Diploma of Honor by Triennale Milano celebrates an exemplary career and a cultural vision that has made its mark on the contemporary world.
