Iconic figure of contemporary experimental music, the eclectic Australian composer presents at this year’s FOG festival Scope Neglect, a show inspirated by the album by the same name, produced in 2023 with Greg Kubacki (guitarist for the mathcore band Car Bomb) and realized in collaboration with the Dutch audio-visual artist Tarik Barri. His glacial electric music combines minimalist tendencies, deafening drones, post-industrial psychotic moods and desolate environments.
Ben Frost is an Australian composer, musician, and record producer. After relocating to Iceland in 2005, Frost founded Bedroom Community, an artists' collective shared, among others, with Daníel Bjarnason and Valgeir Sigurðsson. He has collaborated with Wayne McGregor, Tim Hecker, Björk, Christian Fennesz, and Jóhann Jóhannsson, composing numerous soundtracks for cult films and TV series such as Fortitude and the German series Dark, for which he has received numerous nominations at prestigious international awards.
