Spatial Disobedience is a film attuned to the boundless energy and curiosity with which children explore their surroundings. Through wandering and physical engagement with space, they learn who they are and what kind of world they inhabit. Their bodies remain in a constant state of alert, guided by the electric antennas of their senses. Exploration becomes the path through which they discover themselves, others, and the layered complexities of their environment. Shot in different cities around the world, the film observes closely how children use their bodies as sensorial tools, reclaiming the streets and transforming the city into a terrain of adventure, exploration, play, and joy.
