Agnese Banti
Running time 45’
Agnese Banti, sound artist and cutting-edge experimental musician, proposes an inventive composition in which loudspeakers, around which the performance revolves, stop being tools for sound diffusion and become forms of presence with which to engage. Organized in a choreography of ever-changing sounds, the loudspeakers are stage partners for Banti, whose performance interrogates her own voice as something other than her own self: she plays with it and relates to it, she constructs and deconstructs the space through a process that is ritualistic and playful in how it spreads sound across a blank canvas.
