Triennale Milano. Uma História em Cartazes
Triennale Milano. Uma História em Cartazes traces the history of Triennale's 23 International Exhibitions through a selection of posters designed for each edition—from 1923 to 2022—by international graphic artists, designers and artists. The posters on display are works of graphic art signed by great masters of the Italian twentieth century and contemporary designers including Massimo Vignelli, Bob Noorda, Roberto Sambonet, Italo Lupi, Mario Sironi, Albe Steiner, Max Huber, Eugenio Carmi, Anna Kulachek, and 2x4. Also on display are posters from some of Triennale Milano's recent exhibitions and projects, presenting the visual identity of the institution, adopted in 2019 following a public procedure, and created by Zurich-based Norm studio. In the works of these protagonists of international graphic design, the poster takes on a symbolic value, representing not only an informative medium, but also an element capable of directly communicating visions and suggestions related to the themes and projects.
