A New European Bauhaus
Triennale Milano will hold a round table on Tuesday 13 April at 15.00 to explore the main themes of the New European Bauhaus project, promoted by the European Commission since October 2020, through dialogue between institutions and international stakeholders. This virtual appointment will be a time for discussion at the end of the series of online meetings held between November 2020 and March 2021 to which Triennale invited curators, designers, scholars, and museum directors from all over Europe.
The meeting, which is part of the Triennale Upside Down programme, will feature contributions from Stefano Boeri, President of Triennale Milano; Massimo Gaudina, Head of the European Commission Representation in Milan; Mariya Gabriel, European Commissioner; Marco Sammicheli, Superintendent of the Italian Design Museum and Triennale Milano International Relations Chief Officer; Linda Marchetti, President of EUNIC and Director of the French Institute in Milan; Francesca Bria, High-level Round Table New European Bauhaus and President of the Cassa Depositi e PrestitiItalian Innovation Fund; Xavier Troussard, Joint Research Centre, European Commission; Mojca Bozic, European Commission Representation in Milan; Stefano Mirti, President of Super – (Sforzesco Castle School of Applied Arts, Milan); Ingrid Paoletti, Associate Professor of Architectural Technology, Milan Institute of Technology; Edoardo Croci, Professor and Coordinator of the Smart City Observatory, Bocconi University - GREEN; Giuseppe Sala, Mayor of Milan; Monica Maggioni, RAI journalist.
