Hundreds of book presentations, meetings with the authors, readings and performances. The city of Milan is transformed into a great stage whose spotlights are focused on the books. The focus of the current edition is dedicated to the Time of Dreaming, that ephemeral instant that arises in the depths of sleep and holds the power to transform wakefulness, but "dream" is a polysemic word, capable of evoking associations of deep thoughts and desires, utopias and dystopias, escapes and battles, nightmares and fears; it is the word that inhabits every hope: dreams of youth, daydreams, forbidden dreams, dreams of glory, dreams of a better future. BookCity Milano is a collective and participatory debate that invades the city and offers citizens moments to reflect on all the most important contemporary issues.
