As part of 2023 Milano Arch Week, we present Casa Rebus (2023), by Giordana Ferri and Alessandro Scandurra, published by LetteraVentidue.

The imaginary of the home corresponds to a strongly ingrained standard that is difficult to undermine. If our habits, behaviors, activities are in continuous and dizzying transformation, our homes are not. Casa Rebus looks at the classical composition of domestic environments and imagines new scenarios of living. Starting from the limits we have imposed on ourselves in defining the environments of the communal home, the book takes off from early reflections on minimal housing and moves freely between authorial suggestions and new solutions in an attempt to sketch the outline of a contemporary communal home free from rigid constraints.
