CHAOSMOSIS. Studio per “La mano sinistra”
Industria Indipendente
Running time 50'
Objects, musical instruments and human bodies coexist in the same space: a place where anything can happen, where words become music and gesture. Industria Indipendente – a collective that since 2005 has been making its mark in the performing arts scene by creating imaginary worlds and extraordinary realities – develops artistic research rooted in language, an extended idea of writing that is inscribed on bodies, environments, surfaces and becomes performative action. For FOG, the collective presents a “performance-study” for La mano sinistra, a piece programmed to premiere in June in Rome. The show is open to future developments and considers the moment of performance as an exercise of knowledge in constant becoming.
Industria Indipendente is a performing and visual arts collective founded by Erika Z. Galli and Martina Ruggeri. Over the years, they traverse different languages and practices: from performance creation to longer happenings to installations for theaters, museums and independent spaces. Their works reflect on the construction of fictional worlds in which to generate community in a continuous reversal of individual and collective identities. Klub Taiga (Dear Darkness), their latest creation, premiered at the 48th edition of the Biennale Teatro in Venice in 2020, and their work for theater brought to a record (NERO Edizioni, 2022), a film (by artist Rä Di Martino) and an installation format for exhibition spaces (Fondazione Sandretto, 2022).
