Free admission upon registration
Introduced by the film director Michelangelo Frammartino and the film critic Barbara Grespi, the Rural Cinema night explores the little-known domain of contemporary rural life, encompassing ancestral rites, methodical labour and fear of an uncertain future. Meandering through the atmospheres of Italian country life, as evoked by the short films of Vittorio de Seta, this thematic show also pays homage to one of the founding fathers of rural cinema.
Speakers include:
Michelangelo Frammartino, director and screenwriter
Barbara Grespi, film critic
Luca Mosso, film critic
