Architecture in Dialogue with the City
Free admission upon registration
To celebrate the release of the book Corvino + Multari. Architecture in Dialogue with the City (Marsilio Arte, 2025), Maria Vittoria Capitanucci and Paolo Scrivano talk with the author Pierre-Alain Croset and the architects Vincenzo Corvino and Giovanni Multari. The book reconstructs thirty years of activity by the Neapolitan studio in the form of a dialogic tale on the profession of architect. In six chapters, the “why” and “how” of a design approach that is both pragmatic and experimental, always rigorous and moved by a strong ethical tension, which conceives architecture as a dialogue with the city, the landscape and every pre-existence, are highlighted. Both in the restoration, reuse and completion of existing buildings or in new buildings, their architecture always originates from a critical interpretation of the urban or landscape context.
