Running time 45’

In a dark immersive space, electronic tonalities advance through the audience, in a pulsating and chaotic flow. Biagio Caravano, musician, dancer and performer, one of the founders of the acclaimed group mk, proposes a live audio-visual performance in which sound and images intersect. Devised by visual artist Lorenzo Basili, X-ray plate projections alternate with hypnotic abstract compositions and bright flashes, creating a microcosm in which time, space and gesture transform into unexpected objects that produce a unified compositional movement.

Biagio Caravano is a musician, dancer, and performer, as well as a dance teacher at the Civica Scuola di Teatro Paolo Grassi in Milan and the Proxima Res school in Milan. He is among the founders of the mk group, a collective that has been present for years on the national and international scene of contemporary dance, choreography, and performance. Together with musician Daniela Cattivelli, he has created the duo Sigourney Weaver, in which they explore sound research linked to the posture of the scenic body. For mk, he is the author of live-played music for the show Sfera # uno stato eternamente nascente and the performance Piscina Mirabilis. Currently, he is involved in the concert Human with visual artist Lorenzo Basili.
