LA TANA
Annamaria Ajmone
Silvia Costa
Running time 180'
La Tana is a carte blanche entrusted by Triennale Milano Teatro to two artists, Annamaria Ajmone and Silvia Costa, who independently curated the artistic program. For one night, the entrance of the Triennale Teatro transforms into the dark and warm interior of a den, marked by immense, distant, and indistinguishable temporalities. Its corridors are labyrinthine tunnels, where collective rituals are animated by diverse and extreme species that find refuge in it, and that make the depth of its walls resonate with an echo of voices, sounds, and bodies. With Ultimabaret, Benni Bosetto, Francesca Flora e nobile, Heith, Lara Dâmaso, Thyself Agency, Michele Rizzo, Nicola Ratti, Sara Leghissa, Soukaina Abrour, La Tana invites those who are outside to enter, to gather and inhabit together the darkness.
Silvia Costa studies visual and performing arts at Iuav in Venice. In 2006, she begins working as the lead actress in the production Hey Girl! with the theatrical company Socìetas Raffaello Sanzio, founded by Romeo Castellucci. Simultaneously, she pursues her own artistic projects, developing since 2007 a type of visual and poetic theater, nourished by a profound reflection on the role of images. As an author, director, performer, and set designer, Silvia Costa is a versatile artist who uses these different aesthetic realms to deepen her theatrical research. Her creations are regularly showcased at major Italian and international festivals. In 2019, Silvia Costa starts creating her own productions for the opera world. She has been an associated artist of Triennale Milano Teatro and she is still part of the Artistic Ensemble of the Comedie de Valence.

Her works were presented in various dance, theatre and performing arts festivals, among others: Torino Danza, La Biennale Danza, brut Wien, Bit-teatergarasje, Palais de Tokyo, Santarcangelo Festival. In 2015, she received theDanza&Danza award as “best young Italian performer”. She coordinates Nobody’s Indiscipline, an open source platform for the sharing of artistic practices.
