Game Collection Vol. 1

First launched on the occasion of the 21st International Exhibition in 2016, Triennale Game Collection Vol. 1 is an online exhibition, curated by Pietro Righi Riva, of experimental games created by five independent game designers: Mario von Rickenbach & Christian Etter (Dreii, Plug & Play), Tale of Tales (Luxuria Superbia), Cardboard Computer (Kentucky Route Zero), Pol Clarissou (Orchids to Dusk) and Everest Pipkin (Mirror Lake). Each author presents an original and unique approach to storytelling, puzzles, and interactive exploration.

A story featuring a simple rope that, dangling from the ceiling, looks down on a handful of objects, delicately arranged.

A Glass Room

A Glass Room shows images and animated sequences centered on the life of the author of the game. Undulating photographs are projected onto virtual walls, creating a narrative that evolves as the player maneuvers the device.

The Worm Room
Everest Pipkin (USA)
The Worm Room is a pioneering exploration game in which one can walk through a series of endless glass greenhouses in order to walk, absorb beauty, and learn, as in a botanical garden.
