Romeo Castellucci examines the theme of the 23rd International Exhibition Unknown Unknowns. An Introduction to Mysteries. domani (“tomorrow”) is a performance that finds its focus in the poverty of a gesture. Action enters into dialogue with a second signifier – sound –, in an equal relationship that transforms the work of American sound artist Scott Gibbons into a figure in its own right. domani produces emblems and signs: silent images that only need to be seen.
A Triennale Milano and Societas production commissioned for the 23rd International Exhibition Unknown Unknowns. An Introduction to Mysteries (July 15 – December 11, 2022)
