Tici Humanidadi: Weaving Humanity

To weave is to align, prolong, and transmit. To transmit is to enrich and comfort society with universal egalitarian values for a better future. Our Guinea-Bissau Pavilion invites people to engage in genuine dialogue with Bissau-Guinean artists and to weave “Panu de Pinti” (hand-woven fabric), a global consensus for humanity to thrive. Photographs, an oil painting and panu de pinti transmit their histories, sentiments, hopes, and aspirations. Together, we attempt to align humanity with the planet. We call for action to root out inequalities that perpetuate cycles of poverty and instability for humanity to exist in harmony.
