L’ Âge d’or is a short film that moves poetically across the genres of documentary and fiction. Realised through the use of new technologies, the work is a choreographic experiment that stems from the encounter between children with movement disorders and dancers. Created by the award-winning choreographer and visual artist Éric Minh Cuong Castaing, following months spent working in a specialised medical institute, the film captures the emotion of the children involved in a shared dance and in the magic of a virtual-reality experience. A thought provoking video portrait that exalts physical and sensitive particularities and celebrates the vibrant aesthetics of bodies in motion. Before the screening, the director will meet with Luca Santiago Mora, one of the founders of Atelier dell’Errore (creator of Piccola Liturgia Errante which was presented in the theatre in 2018).
