Come Out! Stonewall Revolution

Scenes for Survival is the season of digital theatrical works created by the National Theater of Scotland in response to the Covid-19 epidemic. Triennale Milano Teatro has selected for its audience 9 of these short films to recount the lockdown in Scotland in an original and unprecedented way.

Created by award-winning choreographer and visual artist Éric Minh Cuong Castaing, following months spent working in a specialized medical institute, the film captures the emotion of the children involved in a shared dance and in the magic of a virtual-reality experience.

The artist invites the audience to formulate thoughts, hopes and fears about the future and share them through written messages. On stage, the artist composes a bodily translation of the textual contributions – an instant choreography aiming at establishing a utopic relationship with the Other-faraway-in-time to understand the relationship with the Other-close-in-time.

In the space created by the choreographer Annamaria Ajmone, bodies acquire new shapes and powers, while they share secret tales. Time dilates, generating a widespread and self-sufficient system, where each element is connected to the others and space is in constant flux. Combining science and fiction, NO RAMA is only one of the possible options investigated by Annamaria Ajmone's great talent.
