The Republic of Longevity
In Health Equality We Trust

For the first time in human history, five generations coexist on the planet. By 2050, the global population of those over sixty is projected to surpass two billion, with one in six people over the age of sixty-five. This marks a profound structural shift: the transition from a society of old age to a society of longevity.
The Republic of Longevity challenges the medicalization of aging and the inequalities that restrict access to healthy living. Its five Ministries—Purpose, Sleep Equality, Food Democracy, Physical Freedom, and Togetherness—underscore how simple daily practices, though often shaped by systemic disparities, can become powerful instruments for democratizing health and narrowing the gap in wellbeing. Interactive elements invite the public to share practices for a healthier lifestyle, creating an archive of collective wisdom. It is a manifesto that demonstrates how the most effective tools for longevity are often those that appear most accessible, yet are influenced by contextual elements. At the heart of the exhibition is the ambition to make healthy longevity a legislative objective. Rather than offering definitive solutions, it seeks to challenge the status quo and inspire a reimagining of a society that has transformed its greatest achievement—longer life— into one of its most pressing challenges.
